THIS PROJECT ALSO INCLUDED ADDING FROM 2, UP TO 7 FEET
TO PORTIONS OF EXISTING WALLS.
 
THIS PROJECT WAS COMPLETED IN APPROXIMATELY 7 MONTHS.

AAC Helps to Make Your World a Little Quieter

AAC provides better insulation to sound transmitted
by air than other building materials such as concrete under comparable conditions. Testing has shown that up to 7 dB higher values of sound transmission loss occurs for AAC in relation to its mass. This can be attributed to a high degree of internal damping in
AAC that converts more acoustical energy into thermal energy than standard concrete.

STC = 50 for AAC 8" wall using ASTM E413
