SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, FIRE DEPARTMENTS, DAY CARE CENTERS, REST HOMES, THEATRES
ALL SHOULD BE BUILT USING AAC (AUTOCLAVED AERATED CONCRETE)
EXAMPLE:
In Florida, statewide overcrowding of schools resulted in the construction of more than 20,000 portable classrooms with potentially long-term safety risks. Inspections of many portable classroom anchors were found to be inadequate, leaving children in jeopardy when faced with severe winds and storm-prone weather.
MISSION: A planning team set out to design and build permanent buildings to replace the existing school portables. The plans called for a four-classroom building that would be affordable, functional, energy efficient, flexible in design, match existing schools' facades, and most important, put the safety of the children first.
SOLUTION: From this design, AAC products were pre-cut to architectural and structural requirements. The AAC School System, was shipped to the job site ready to install.
With safety as the number one priority, the AAC School System included a permanent anchoring system, ideal against high winds. AAC School Systems are reinforced with steel cages, which meet structural requirements to increase protection of students.
